This Privacy Policy explains what personal information QHX DIGITAL collects through qhxdigital.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific to what this website actually does.
Who we are
QHX DIGITAL is a digital marketing and web development agency working with clients worldwide. For any privacy question or request, email us at qhxdigital@gmail.com.
Information we collect
When you use our contact form. We ask for your name, email address, and your message. You can also tell us your website or company, the service you are interested in, and your budget. When you send the form, these details are emailed to our inbox so we can reply. The website does not keep a copy of your message in its database.
When you email us directly. We receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to attach.
Spam protection. To stop automated spam, the contact form briefly records a coded (hashed) version of your IP address. It is deleted automatically after one hour.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to keep the website secure and working.
Cookies. See the “Cookies and analytics” and “Advertising” sections below.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it through the form.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project;
- prepare a proposal or provide services you ask for;
- keep the website secure and protect it from spam and abuse;
- understand how the website is used, but only if you agree to analytics cookies;
- show advertising through Google AdSense (see “Advertising” below).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Cookies and analytics
When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, accept only essential cookies, choose your preferences, or decline. Essential cookies keep the website working and remember your cookie choice. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner.
If you accept analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how people find the website. We use this information in aggregate (for example, total visits per page), not to identify you. If you do not accept, analytics cookies are not set.
Advertising
This website shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and to other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn more, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Where the law requires it (for example, for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before personalised ads and their cookies are used. If you do not consent, Google may show non-personalised ads, which still use cookies for limited purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention.
Services that process data for us
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website and our communication:
- Our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its technical logs.
- Google (Gmail), which delivers contact form messages and hosts our email inbox.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts on this website. To load them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies;
- Google AdSense, which serves the ads shown on this website.
These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. They are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as our Instagram and X profiles. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave our website.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to reply to you, provide any services you ask for, and keep reasonable business records. When we no longer need them, we delete them. Spam protection records are deleted after one hour.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information;
- stop using your information for a particular purpose.
Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the GDPR (European Union and United Kingdom) or the CCPA (California) may give you additional rights. To make a request, email qhxdigital@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days.
Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to the information you send us. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
